Hitchhikers Lullaby - A Poem
63(seventeen months on the road today)
300 miles on the road today
there is no bed where I can stay
I find a place under a giant tree
mother nature is protecting me
three other travelers are already there
we have a lot of things to share
A bagpipe and a violin
the cicadas are soon joining in
a nearby river plays his part
the moon and the stars are sending energy straight into my heart
the wind is whispering his melody
the sounds of the forest are delighting me
in the distance a dog is barking but why
he wants to join the hitchhikers lullaby

I love this poem. I have always wanted just to wonder and see whats over the next hill. Sleep under the stars and not worry about the everyday problems and rat race.

I love the imagery that this poem evokes. I kept looking for you under one of the trees in the photo. Great job!
This nicely puts into the place, the joys of being in that one little spot on planet Earth, where everything is working out, and every sound just completes the feeling of the place.
Very nice! :)
What a beautiful palette of experience you write from!
This is nice way to imagine true serenity. Thank you.

Obviously inspired by the sights and sounds of nature. Beautiful!
Hitchhiking sounds fun, under the giant tree. The hitchhikers lullaby and cicadas... Lovely piece, flows like the river, clean and pure.
